Solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), preferably with 5+ years of experience in their field and an excellent track record of client care. We aren't taking on CILEX, CLC or other lawyers at the moment. Tell us about your experience, the areas you practise in and the work you want.
Our focus is primarily on housing disputes, but we'd love to hear what you have in mind.
Consultants keep 40% to 90% of the fees they bill, depending on factors such as where the client came from, the practice area and complexity. Full-time solicitors are paid a salary plus commission. We'll go through how this works for you, along with supervision and responsibilities, before you start.
The same day the client pays.
Remedy is in the process of seeking authorisation from the SRA. Any applications at the moment are contingent on this. Once authorised, you'll practise through Remedy's regulated firm, under its professional indemnity insurance, so you won't need your own. We'll confirm the arrangement with you before you start.
Yes. We're keen to support both flexible consultant arrangements, where you choose your hours, caseload and where you work, and more traditional full-time roles on a salary plus commission.
This depends on the specific terms of your arrangement with Remedy. Consultant solicitors will have full flexibility over their caseload.
